Are you suffering from hair loss problems? Trust me, you’re not alone. According to the U.S. National Library of Medicine, more then 50 percent of all men over the age of 50 are affected by a phenomenon known as male pattern baldness that results in receding hairlines.
That’s not to say that all of them go bald, but they are affected. If your hair starts thinning out, check out these hairstyles for balding men. Just because your hair isn’t flowing and luscious, doesn’t mean you can’t still look good.
1. The Slicked-back Comb Over with an Undercut
While comb overs have been around since the dawn of hair thinning, this style manages to combine the old with the new.
Slicked back undercuts are huge right now, so with a small adjustment in the form of a comb over, you can sport one too and fit right in.
Sometimes it’s better to just embrace what’s happening and shave it all off.
Combine it with a nice beard style for men, and you’ve got a look that is absolutely in style right now.
3. The Buzz Cut
Embracing the scalp and shaving it all off can be scary, and I get that. That’s why I’m offering another option in the form of the buzz cut, as worn by Jason Statham in this photo.
4. The Caesar Cut
Next we have the Caesar cut which is a great short hairstyle for men regardless of your current hair inventory.
This features a short cut with the top hair swept forward, much like the way Caesar himself did it back in Roman times.
Embrace Your Hair (Or Lack Thereof)
Yes, you may be losing your hair. No, it’s not the end of the world.
While you could resort to some of the more extreme options out there, we recommend simply adopting your hairstyle to fit what hair you have.
